Within the last year or so, I've realized that I enjoy cooking. At the same time, I began to realize that I needed to change my eating habits in order to maintain health & longevity.

This blog is about my journey (from this point forward) into cooking for my family - from scratch, or as close to that as possible. And into understanding how foods affect our bodies. We are saying 'no' to pre-packaged & fast foods - at least on a daily basis :)

I will be sharing recipes that we've (my Husband and I) tested, tried, and/or adjusted to our taste, along with food news & events.
